Running out of garden space? The top 15 towns and cities with the largest average garden size in the UK have been revealed – and Poole in Dorset took first place.

To help Brits make more money, ConservatoryLand analyzed the places that offer the highest average square meter of garden space, taking into account three different postcodes in the area.

While Poole came in first with an average garden size of 490 square meters, other winners include Dundee (249), Cambridge (235) and the glorious coastal town of Swansea (203). Gardens regularly top a buyer’s must-see list, but this study shows that you won’t find a sprawling outdoor space everywhere.

Elsewhere, they’ve also highlighted average house prices to see if paying more for a property will give you a bigger garden. Dundee ranks as the best value with the garden size offering, while those shopping in Cambridge plan to pay £ 433,929 for 235 square meters.

On the flip side, however, it’s not surprising to see Brighton and London at the bottom of the list, with gardens averaging just 23 and 35 square meters, respectively.

“For many UK residents, the need for garden space is high on the list of must-have items for a new home,” Conservatory Earth Explain. “Whether it’s entertaining guests, growing a dream flower garden, or providing space for outdoor exercise, it turns out to be important in so many ways. “
