Bike stolen in Ferndown Heist

POLICE investigating a burglary at an address in Ferndown appeal for witnesses and publish an image of a stolen bicycle.

Between the afternoon of Saturday November 6 and the morning of Sunday November 7, 2021, entry was obtained at a Medway Road address via an unsecured temporary veranda door.

The offender (s) then took the keys that had been left on display and used them to gain access to the hangar.

A black and blue Carrera Hellcat ATV has been stolen. The bike has smileys on the air caps and a damaged left handlebar.

Constable Lynsey Docherty of East Dorset Police said: ‘I appeal to anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time and has not yet spoken to officers well. want to contact me.

“I am posting an image of the stolen bicycle in the hope that someone has seen it being put up for sale locally under unusual circumstances.

“As part of our door-to-door investigations, we discovered that an unsecured hangar was accessed and a vehicle was broken into in the same area and we would like to reassure all residents that these questions will now be done. under investigation.

“Finally, I would like to remind all residents not to make life easier for thieves and to make sure that all doors, windows and outbuildings are securely locked, while keeping the keys out of sight.”
