John Grinnell, director of the center at the Dolphin Center, said: “Participating in such a big beach clean-up seemed like the perfect activity to raise funds for these two exceptional charities – we wanted to participate in an activity that not only protects our people. beaches, but also allows us to support two worthwhile causes.

The event is part of an initiative by One Great Day, a charity that organizes events in shopping malls across the UK to raise funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital, and a local charity of your choice of each center.

John said, “We are always trying to improve ourselves as a shopping center to make conscious decisions that protect and preserve our environment. So this was the perfect challenge for us and we hope to encourage others within our community to do the same.

Donations are open now and fundraising will continue until the end of November.

The team hope to reach their total goal of £ 1,000.
