DORCHESTER Town pulled off a blow by announcing the permanent signing of defender Callum Buckley from Hayes & Yeading United.
Versatile defender Buckley, formerly of Aldershot and Weymouth, has signed until the end of the 2022/23 season.
Making a total of 17 appearances over a number of Hayes & Yeading’s monthlong loan spells this season, Buckley has impressed in center defense or left-back.
He had formed a solid partnership with Thiago Caze da Silva in the Magpies rearguard and, after being called up by United, Dorchester decided to end his season in a zigzag way.
Dorchester boss Glenn Howes told the club’s media team: “We are delighted to welcome Callum back to the Avenue on a permanent basis after a successful loan spell.
âCallum has proven to be an extremely popular member of the team and has been missed a lot since being called up by Hayes & Yeading, his qualities on the pitch speak for themselves.

Buckley will go directly to the Magpies team to face Gosport tomorrow (3pm).
