Poole now hopes to use his vast experience to help businesses emerge from the Covid-19 pandemic that has devastated the industry for the past 14 months.

Talk to Irish news, Poole said: “The past 12 months have been extremely difficult for everyone involved in the travel and tourism sector, one of the hardest hit industries in our local economy.

However, as the green shoots of positivity appear with the continued easing of lockdown restrictions, now is the time for the industry to reset to prepare for the ‘reboot.’

“Through DP Consultancy, I want to use my 40 years of experience, my skills and my network of contacts to help organizations, groups or individuals who wish to redefine their goals in the sector and plan their growth again.

“The travel and tourism industry is one of the most dynamic, innovative and resilient sectors of our local economy and I have no doubts that DP Consultancy can contribute to its recovery.
