Playstation 5 – How Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is Different on PS5 | Zoom Fintech

[ad_1]

The PlayStation 5 version of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla comes with some notable differences. Many of these are improvements that come from the hardware of the PS5, but they make the experiences in Valhalla overall more pleasant. Here are all the differences for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on PS5 that fans should know about.

One of the first differences players will notice on the PS5 is that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla runs at 60 FPS, thanks to an update from Ubisoft that came shortly after the game’s release. On the PS4, the game runs at 30 FPS (and sometimes drops even lower), but the PS5 doesn’t seem have no problem operating Valhalla at 60 FPS.

Like the improved frame rate, the resolution is another marked improvement on PS5 over PS4. On PS4 Pro the game will run at 1440p, but on PlayStation 5, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla works in 4K, assuming users have a compatible 4K TV. 4K resolution was another updated feature from Ubisoft, as the launch version of Valhalla initially lacked these characteristics. Between the improved frame rate and resolution, gamers should instantly spot the differences on PS5. However, some of the changes are geared more towards using the game on the PlayStation 5 and focus on using new PS5 features like activity cards.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla load times and bug fixes on PS5

Loading times on PS5 are significantly better, and this is especially noticeable when loading after a quick trip to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. While Assassin’s Creed Valhalla may still load slower on PS5 than some gamers would like, this is still a big improvement over the PS4 version. And with the PS5’s activity cards, players can skip the opening logos and title screen and jump right back into the action by quickly loading from their last save.

The PS5 version of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla isn’t completely free of bugs and glitches, but it has fewer issues on Sony’s latest console than it does on the PS4. An update earlier this year fixed over 100 bugs in Valhalla, but even before that the PS5 version ran a bit easier overall. The PS4 version often struggled to keep up to 30 FPS and therefore could have jittery gameplay – but this issue fortunately seems to be missing in the PS5 version of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Most of the differences on PS5 with Assassin’s Creed Valhalla come from running the game on newer hardware. DualSense features, for example, are not really used to the same level as expected for “next-gen” games. however, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is noticeably improved on the PlayStation 5, and that should definitely make it the preferred console for playing the game.
