Police are looking for wanted man Christopher Spelman

POLICE seek to locate a man who has connections to Poole and who has been recalled to jail for three weeks.

Merseyside Police officers are appealing to the public in Dorset for help in locating a 62-year-old man who failed to comply with his license release conditions.

Christopher Spelman, from Kirkby, was sentenced to seven years in prison on March 6, 2014, after being convicted of indecent assault. It was released under license on December 9, 2016.

Spelman is wanted by officers and was recalled to prison on December 9, 2021.

Merseyside Police said considerable efforts had been made to locate him, but that he remains exceptional and officers are asking the public for help in locating him.

Spelman is described as white, 5 feet 8 inches tall, of medium build, with blue eyes and short brown hair. Spelman speaks with a Liverpool accent.

The offender reportedly visited the Poole area in Dorset in December 2016. He remained there until March 2017. He is known to frequent campsites and work in the hospitality industry.
