Sandbanks: Gorgeous beachfront location which is the setting for TOWIE’s new season

Essex’s favorite reality show is back and the stars are on vacation on the South Coast.

Wanting to take a break from Brentwood, the show decided to bring the drama to the idyllic Sandbanks coastline in Dorset, near Bournemouth and Poole.

The first episode of Season 29 aired on ITVBe Sunday night at 9 p.m., with a cast reduced to just 14 but still packed full of drama, gossip and party.

Sandbanks is a small spit of land spanning Poole Harbor, and with a white sand beach stretching to one side, it is no surprise that the location has been chosen as the setting for this season of TOWIE.

The area is famous for its high property prices – according to Rightmove, the average property price in Sandbanks over the past year has been over £ 1.3million.

And after seeing those shots of the beach, restaurants, and mansion in the first episode, we’re already saving for a visit.

Sandbanks Beach has soft golden sand and clear, brilliant blue water – that makes the 3.5 hour drive to the TOWIE cast made from Brentwood worth every second.

Behind the beach there is a large mini-golf course, as well as a children’s playground and water sports equipment available for hire.

Or you can take inspiration from the actors and set up chairs and umbrellas to relax in the sun.

If you are already planning your stay in Sandbanks, the Haven Hotel is located right at the end of the spire, with sea views, fine dining and a heated outdoor pool.

If you’ve watched Sunday closely, you’ll have seen Saffron and Amy dine at Rick Stein, Sandbanks, which features the chef’s signature seafood dishes including fresh oysters, grilled Cornish lobster, or whole Dover sole. .

You can even hire a motorboat to explore the waters around the Spit – lay back, sip prosecco, and you could be the 15th cast member!
