Summer parks and parks unveiled for Bournemouth and Poole

PARK-AND-RIDE services will operate in Bournemouth and Poole this summer to help cope with an expected influx of staying visitors.

Bournemouth services will start in time for the May Bank Holiday weekend and Poole will be in service from July.

Services will extend from Kings Park to Boscombe Pier and Poole Civic Center to Sandbanks with the aim of alleviating pressure on waterfront and downtown parking lots.

And it will cost £ 5 per car to park with a free Morebus service every 15 minutes.

Services will depart Kings Park on May 29, 30 and 31, every weekend in June and July, and daily from July 24 to September 1.

the Poole service will operate daily from July 24 to September 5.

Councilor Mike Greene, BCP Transportation and Sustainability Council portfolio holder, said: “We know people will be eager to come back to the area and make the most of our award-winning beaches this summer.
