The A31 Dorset-Surrey road among the most disrupted roads in the UK

A study of road closures over a four-week period has revealed the most disrupted roads per mile, with a Dorset route making the list.

The A282, better known as Dartford Crossing, suffers by far the most road closures per mile.

With 56 total closures on the road spanning just two miles, this equates to an average of 28 closures per mile

The A31 comes fourth on the list and connects Guildford in Surrey to Bere Regis in Dorset. He recorded a total of 91 closes over his 19 miles, giving him an average of 5 closes per mile.
