The ‘wonderful’ Dorset cottage could be yours for £ 150,000

A ‘WONDERFUL’ cottage in Dorset could be yours for £ 150,000 when it goes under the hammer.

The two-bedroom property, based on Church Street, Sturminster Newton, has been auctioned with a guide price of £ 150,000 by Whoobid.

Whoobid says the semi-detached property is a “magnificent Category 2 listed character cottage, located within walking distance of the town center and its amenities”.

The property brochure states that the chalet can be renovated by a new buyer.

The character cottage is accessed by a wrought iron gate and has a ‘pretty cottage garden to the front’.

The ground floor comprises an entrance hall, a cozy living room with a fireplace and partially paneled walls, a kitchen, a dining room and access to a rear garden.

Two bedrooms and a bathroom are on the first floor as well as some storage in a ventilation cupboard.

Behind the chalet is a lovely seating area in the courtyard which has been paved and has vines and shrubs.

The property will be sold through a modern auction, which means that upon acceptance of an offer or at the close of the auction, the successful buyer must pay a non-refundable reservation fee to agents to reserve the property.

The auction will start at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, August 17, but sellers will review the bids before the auction.

Viewings can be booked through Whoobid. More information can be found via this link –
